Campanile : Hotels everywhere you go

Since 1976, when it opened its first hotel, the Campanile chain has enjoyed very rapid growth: in 1980 the chain had 30 hotels and in 1986 it inaugurated its 100th hotel. Campanile began its expansion in Europe the same year (Belgium, followed by the UK, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and Luxembourg).

In 1999, the chain established a foothold in Eastern Europe when it opened the first Campanile in Poland. Campanile, which today has 380 hotels in nine countries, is pursuing an ambitious development programme in Europe. The chain is a major player in the 2-star hotel market in France and Europe. The brand, which emphasizes human contact, is appreciated for the authentic and friendly ambiance of its hotels and restaurants.
